Letters to our Girls
The Author Rowan Coleman wrote a letter to one of the abducted girls and posted it on twitter tagging it to @Number10Gov - you can see it HERE
This inspired the writer Cath Bore who is an active supporter of the international campaign and active in our local Liverpool event and campaign to also do a letter which you can see HERE.
So we thought as part of our ongoing actions we could all write a letter to one of the girls.
The list of the 180 names released so far is on the photo slide show below.
We would like you all to pick a name and write a letter. If you have a blog to post it on your blog and then if you have twitter to tweet it and also tage to @Number10Gov and use the hashtag #BBOGliverpool of course you could also tweet it elsewhere relevant e.g. Nigerian Government @NigeriaPortal
You could also do this on Facebook.
If you don't have a blog and/or Twitter not a problem - send us your letter and we will post it on the website blog here and tweet it from @LivBringBack
You could even get friends and family involved who don't do computers or social media by getting them to write a letter and emailing it to us and we will blog and tweet it for them.
You can email us HERE
WE HAVE THE LIST OF THE 180 GIRLS NAMED ON THE SLIDES BELOW.
Our Sisters,Our Daughters, Our Girls
The letter writing campaign enables us to focus that each one of the abducted girls is a person in their own right and enables people to connect further to the abuctions.
The next stage is to show WHY WE CARE and WHO WE ARE - ordinary people, on the other side of the world.
For Our Sisters, Our Daughters, Our Girls we would like you all to write about that or how it makes you feel, or what you have done to support campaigns - this can be anything a letter, a poem, an article, a piece of art.
It does not have to be long, it just has to be from you and say what you have to say about the abduction of the Chibok Girls.
Again if you don't have a blog or use social media just email us what you have done and we wll blog and tweet it here. We can also do that for friends and family who don;t use computers or social media.
If you have done a piece of art send us the photo, or send us photos that say what you want to say about why you and why others should support Bring Back Our Girls.
