Following the North West Day of action on Saturday, 10th May, 2014 at St Lukes Bombed Out Church we are continuing to highlight the plight of the schoolgirls kidnapped from Chibok in Nigeria by Boko Haram.

We would like people to support the campaign during this years Liverpool Light Night which is on Friday, 16th May www.lightnightliverpool.co.uk

How?

You can show support if you are doing or going to an event by:-

Dedicating an event or performance to the girls

Wearing red or bringing something red - a balloon maybe and releasing it as a symbolic gesture

Or take a #BringBackOurGirls sign or banner with you

Posting on facebook, Instagram etc or tweeting support and photos using the hashtag #LivLightNight4BBOG

If you can't make any of the events use social media as above with the hashtag to show your support.

Let us see if we can get it trending and use all that positive energy and light to show the heart of this city and that we are in solidarity with the girls and sending them Love & Light whilst keeping the pressure on their Government to work to get them home, safe.

You could also think up your own unique way to show support and let us know what you are doing!

There is many things we can do at the event to raise awareness and keep the campaign in the news

e.g. 276 lights - 1 for each girl or red balloons - what else you can think of!

Every action no matter how small makes a contribution, we can make a difference!
